Mailers and shipping materials produce lots of plastic waste. We decided to take action and switched our regular mailers and shipping boxes to 100% recycled ones.
Our new mailers are from Better Packaging Company – a company that makes their mailers from 100% recycled ocean-bound plastic pollution. The plastic in our oceans comes mainly from waterways & shorelines in countries with undeveloped waste management systems. Better Packaging collects this plastic pollution to prevent it from entering our oceans and turns it into packaging.
What’s more, you can recycle our mailers further. Walmart, Tops, and other stores have bins dedicated to collecting soft plastics, films, and wraps, often located by the customer service area.
